How did we miscalculate? We started with the hardest post to install and not the easiest working toward the hardest. Because of this we now have 4 more to install instead of maybe one or two if we had started at the other end.
What made the first two posts so difficult was that drilling the holes in the deck was nearly impossible to reach. R ended up standing on a pile of fire wood that was stacked up against the barn. I have no idea how he didn't fall or how the fire wood didn't just collapse.The weather was beautiful today and tomorrow is forecast to be warmer but cloudy with chance of thunderstorms. The plan is to get at it early so if it does rain we will at least have all the posts installed.
