I'll never get lost again!

I promised yesterday to tell you about my latest freebie via a rewards program.

Here it is....TomTom One V3 GPS courtesy of My Coke Rewards program.
Hopefully this GPS will keep us from getting lost in the future. I doubt it but I can hope. I used 7316 points and My Coke Rewards doesn't charge for shipping either.....so this item was absolutely FREE!!!I never considered buying a GPS because I really didn't think I could get my money's worth out of it. But since it's FREE, I don't think it will be too hard to get my money's worth out of it. I looked on eBay and they seem to be selling for 150-200 dollars.

Yesterday I forgot to mention several other places that I receive freebies from. Just recently I received a coupon for a free fondue dessert for two at The Melting Pot. This is a $12.99 item and is so delicious and sweet that you will be in a diabetic coma by the time you leave the restaurant. This is the second time in 10 months that I have received this coupon. Join the Fondue Club and be on your way to chocolate heaven.

Last week I also received a $20.00 off coupon for dinner at The Holly Hotel in celebration of my birthday this month. R and I belong to their diners club. Throughout the year we receive approxiately $250 in coupons plus 10 free passes to their comedy club. If you ever have the chance to dine at The Holly Hotel you will not be sorry. The comedy club is located in the basement. The basement is constructed of large field stones and has a great ambiance. Many years ago a friend of mine saw a very funny comedian there. I remember her telling me about how he talked about remodeling and tools...what was his name....oh I remember now....Tim Allen.

Also Coldstone Creamery has a birthday club. What better way to help drown your sorrow because another year has past you by then eating FREE ice cream. My favorite is sweet cream with caramel and coconut.

I'll post more freebies as I run across them. Enjoy.

  1. Wow, that's a nice freebie! But how much Coke do you have to drink to accumulate that many points??

  2. Jayne, I mooch my caps (3 points per cap) from everywhere... I have a friend who drinks Classic Coke (I drink diet Coke) and she doesn't like to give up the cap (afraid the bottle will attract bugs without the cap - she's a very clean person) and she just writes down the Code off the cap for me so that I can use it.

Dynochick -- how did you put your weather spot on your blog? I had help from Mike at Foxcroft to put a counter on my blog and I would love to have a weather spot, too!

  3. Ok Jayne and Sandy...I'm going to pass on my little secret to collecting mega points. First only do the caps as a last resort. The way to really accumulate points fast is to save the points off the boxes that cans come in. 12pk=10 pts 24 pts=20. You can put in 10 codes a day. 10 caps=30pts 10 10pks=100pts 10 24pks=200pt. This is how you get the codes off can packs....you go to the grocery store bottle return and look in the bin. Sounds yucky but believe me you are not the only one doing it. Kroger has a special going right now. The 24pk with the Daytona ad on it has a code worth 50pts in it.

Both of you send me your address and I will send you some points to get started.

Also don't waste your pts on the Paris/London t shirts. I know someone that ordered them and they are horrible.

Good ones are the mags subscriptions. Also the free year of movies from Blockbuster. Only catch with that is that you have to stay with the same Blockbuster.

    Good luck.

  4. Sandy...go to www.wunderground.com and at the bottom of the page it says, "free stickers for your home page." I was able to do it so it must have been easy.

  5. Also I forgot to mention that the codes are on other products as well. Go the the mycokerewards site, click on take a tour, click on participating products.

Mondays and Tuesdays after big sporting events usually nets a lot of codes.

    Good luck.
